File a Claim

If you need to submit a claim, please review these steps or complete the online form below.

  • Personal contact – If you'd like to talk to someone about your claim, call your Erie Insurance Agent or an ERIE office near you.
  • After business hours – If your claim happened after business hours or on a weekend and you would like to speak with a claims representative, call (800) 367-3743.
  • Auto insurance claims - Learn more about ERIE's auto claims process. If you're ready to repair your vehicle, use our locator to find a car repair facility near you.
  • Windshield or glass claims – To report an auto glass claim, call ERIEGlassSM at (800) 552-ERIE (3743), 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Damage to a vehicle, except for glass, should be reported to your agent or local Erie Insurance office.
  • Identity recovery claim – To report this type of claim, call ERIE's Identity Recovery hotline at 1-866-ERIENOW.
